About zongrik

For those of you who do not know the handle "zongrik," that would be Bat-Ami Gordin. Most people call me "Tammy." Bat-Ami means "daughter of my nation" in Hebrew. It's a heavy name to carry around. I answer to either name. I also answer to "mama." Some Basic Things about me: Animal lover, mom, poet/writer, dramatic soprano, photographer, teacher/tutor, CERT/Technician and, oh yeah, aerospace engineer. I consider myself "The Astro-Poet." To learn more about the origins of the word "zongrik" see whats-a-zongrik?

  15. lol! reminds me of the bees out here in the summertime and how I have to play dodge ‘em with the little buggers :) Good one Zongrik!! Grins, Terri

  16. Just read your poem about the hawk and dog–you nailed the crazy-clumsy persona of a bumblebee just as clearly here–and with hardly anything but sound words. Really cool. I love watching these guys try to make it from flower to flower without hitting something–and they really don’t handle a sprinkler well.

  17. Gee, this is just great! Loved the cadence.

  18. Ah, yes! buzz, zap and zoom! Perfect piece.
