redeem from persecution
rock the opposition
fill with compassion
fight off starvation
grieve sinful condition
reign in proportion
reward our recitation
mercy on our generation
ordain with obligation
praise urgent declamation
bless vocal improvisation
glorify breathing relaxation
proclaim his name with satisfaction
commit your spirit to salvation

So beautiful Bat-Ami. Our world needs a Ghandi, and needs to be blessed. Thank you for an uplifting prayer/poem.Shalom.
nice…this is beautiful…and i have some very similar hopes…shalom
I really like this! It is simple, but to the point and flows very nicely. A beautiful piece of writing.
Thank you…enjoyed it immensely.

Beautifully written and heartfelt–and I love the photo of Gandhi–such an inspiration to the world.
I know so little of Gandhi. I have snippets of information, but thats about it. I am not religious in any way, shape or form. Your piece is over and above me because of that. Benediction is something I had to look up. I have snippets of memory about Benedictine Monks I seem to remember?
A very interesting read though.
worship through it,
love your take.
Fabulous poem for the challenge. I enjoyed it very much.
here is my entry for MMWP : enjoy …
Worship through musical notation,I can dig it.
