Nano-Informatics

 data merges with life
 into an information garden

living encyclopedia – captured
DNA – sampled
answers – optimized
raw numbers – decoded
genomics – transmuted
engines – synthesized

 the drama of nano-scale science
is an abstraction of this world

language – acquired
3D figures – rendered
life and digital core – married
digital spew – congealed
nano-world – navigated
distortions – profuse

About zongrik

For those of you who do not know the handle "zongrik," that would be Bat-Ami Gordin. Most people call me "Tammy." Bat-Ami means "daughter of my nation" in Hebrew. It's a heavy name to carry around. I answer to either name. I also answer to "mama." Some Basic Things about me: Animal lover, mom, poet/writer, dramatic soprano, photographer, teacher/tutor, CERT/Technician and, oh yeah, aerospace engineer. I consider myself "The Astro-Poet." To learn more about the origins of the word "zongrik" see whats-a-zongrik?

  1. Tons of information, worlds of nano tech,
particles colliding, my life is a wreck,
Filled with numbers to the top of my head,
Today is an anomaly, I think I’ll stay in bed.

  2. wow, different and creative why to express

  3. Now this poetry. It’s creative and educates. You said I’ll work outside formal structure and just speak poetically. To me it works. I am informed by you poetically. Nice!

  4. Wonderfully original! Terrific.

  5. technology takes over and redefines all lol
happy rally! thanks for the visit!

  6. Nice work, science and poetry 🙂

  7. a wonderful combination, carried the sense of the technology into the form and structure. ~ Rose

  8. Beautiful. I want to be alive for many years to come to see where all this new technology will advance and take us to. Robots will be a standard in homes for sure. Seems science fiction always becomes reality sooner or later. Lovely piece.

  9. An interesting marriage of science and art.
    Cheers,
    Mark Butkus

  10. Very nice way of writing poetry … technnlogy and poetry … going hand by hand.

    Happy Rally!

  11. a ‘little’ knowledge goes a long way.

    Nice concrete poem.

  12. You are so wonderfully weird. I somehow always smile when I’m thinkin’ what the heck? I always leave your site sighing “that was cool”.

  13. This geek enjoyed this piece a whole lot!

    Totally awesome. 🙂

  14. Love it, makes me think… A digital high 5, 🙂 thank you, much appreciated… WS

  15. Intense… I somehow sense the fast moving life in a city in your piece… But maybe it’s just me 😛 Awesome, original poem!

  16. A very striking depiction of a world with priorities shrunken to nano-size. Unexpected fodder for poetry, and unexpected form, which communicates the message so well.

  17. I like this–melding poetry with nano..something or other… 🙂
