About zongrik
For those of you who do not know the handle "zongrik," that would be Bat-Ami Gordin. Most people call me "Tammy."
Bat-Ami means "daughter of my nation" in Hebrew. It's a heavy name to carry around. I answer to either name. I also answer to "mama."
Some Basic Things about me:
Animal lover, mom, poet/writer, dramatic soprano, photographer, teacher/tutor, CERT/Technician and, oh yeah, aerospace engineer.
I consider myself "The Astro-Poet."

oh, I love it. perfect play with some great onomatopoeias!
That’s one gnarly looking bee hive! You described the sounds perfectly–I hate the “zapping” part!
Buzzing. good description.
Very good, and such a” sweet” thing to write about…..busy-buzz-buzz
great fun! ♥
We need lots of bees! great sounds-thanks for visiting.
lol! reminds me of the bees out here in the summertime and how I have to play dodge ’em with the little buggers 🙂 Good one Zongrik!! Grins, Terri
Just read your poem about the hawk and dog–you nailed the crazy-clumsy persona of a bumblebee just as clearly here–and with hardly anything but sound words. Really cool. I love watching these guys try to make it from flower to flower without hitting something–and they really don’t handle a sprinkler well.
Gee, this is just great! Loved the cadence.
Ah, yes! buzz, zap and zoom! Perfect piece.
