Quickening of The Chakras

Quickening of The Chakras

Dirt removed from body,
in bathing relaxation.
You squeeze out thoughts
with unseen hands.

Light emanates from stomach;
it centers from the groin,
it’s grounded from the toes,
along the spine and running.
Thickness not applicable.
All colors of the rainbow are appropriate.
Shape is satisfying as it
forms in spherical splendor.

It’s a thing of tears.
Heart sounds seem like waves.
It’s a quickening, whence
cells echo in the body,
calmness of a primitive universe.

Journey With A New Friend

Wilde Beast Bumping Heads

Wilde Beast Bumping Heads

Journey With A New Friend

Each new friend speaks a new language.
Unique histories to share.
So much to say, it’s a traffic stall.

Rare books of knowledge.
Scriptures delineating a process.
Each new friend speaks a new language.

Shared representations?
A journey that is just introduced?
Unique histories to share.

Wilde beast bumping heads
on a prehistoric plain.
So much to say, it’s a traffic stall.

Today’s challenge was to write Chained verse which links together stanzas by carrying a rhyme over from one stanza to the next.

This simply means that you use a rhyme scheme which repeats a rhyme from one stanza in the succeeding stanzas, in this case a pattern of:
a-b-c
d-e-a
f-g-b
h-i-c

Initiated Kiss

Lovers Kissing by Joseph Lorusso

Initiated Kiss

There was a man
who was The Kiss
after a meal,
but not even dating.

Only one
earnestly fell in love;
a kiss to which
one utters, “WOW!”
blinding everyone’s
point of view.
They must kiss all the time.

Oh.
Behind the ear.
Around the neck.
A little touch
here and there.

Initiation? By whom?
Is this for real?
This kind of kiss,
better than any before.
No one observes those lips.
It’s all a point of view.

Public display of affection —
extremely tight and thrilling.
Let them perform
so long, so hungry.
Private entertainers
competing against
mediocre sustenance.

Gripping Girdle Limerick

Woman Contortionist Tying Her Corset

Gripping Girdle Limerick

A woman was attempting to tie
as she twisted her torso and thigh.
All guys who are straight
long to take her on a date
because she’s so nimble and spry.

prima donna cat fight

Cat Fight by Lutherniel

prima donna cat fight

they said only five miles.
(more like five hundred).
can’t stop at a decent hotel;
obession kept us going.

the sun lulled us from zombieness.
green tea in a water bottle;
oxiginated, ion free, stubborn sips
as we mono-maniacally trudge forward.

the hub of a prima donna cat fight —
she just could let go.
necklace rips off: splits the gold.
girls refrain from idle speech.

two frames of the second half
at the reunion, all laugh —
reminder of a little circle
where special relativity rules.

i shake off recollection;
neither shark nor snake repellent
keeps anyone from getting my loot.
life’s a test (or a punishment).

for the thousandth time

Friendship by rebela-wanted

for the thousandth time

for the thousandth time
you burst in without knocking
(it’s permanently open to you.)
I sniff the spirit
that signals your presence
(an experience one never forgets.)

who else could mitigate?
conterminous affairs, alleviated;
exposed to your core, renovated.
stronger, we camouflage indifferences,
and prevent piercing yelps
from penetrating some phony smile.

long conversations,
sometimes called debates
(yelling like fireworks.)
from outside, a facade —
they might call it abuse
(it’s a form of obedient respect.)

together we start a candy bar.
sobriety, in our minds.
no need for questions
to answers well known.
dispensing honor. beaming pride —
behind childish laughter.

Sleeping Judge Limerick

Judge Yevgeny Makhno of Blagoveshchensk City Court in Russia’s Far East was forced to resign Friday for obviously falling asleep several times while trying a businessman on charges of fraud.

Sleeping Judge Limerick

A magistrate was recently canned
as the defense was taking a stand.
In a former slave state
with a high conviction rate
judges shouldn’t take naps that aren’t planned!

Hades’ Gate

Gate_keeper-829604

Hades’ Gate

1000 shards of Shadows
always slippery in thought.
Bohemian creativity hidden in
conscious state of sleepwalking.

Omnipotent matter
zooms through a gate of darkness.
Irresistible forces hand the world ideals
fashioned from troublesome trances.

Turbulently trounced trolls
traipse into the sun.
A silhouette reflects
off the stratosphere:
the Sun is wrong,
the Sun is right overhead
where the sterile Corona
stops a nightmare on the rise.
