Portrait of Maggie

Maggie was six months old. She scooted, rolled, squealed and participated avidly in other such infant-activities. She played with her sisters who she loved very much. She had a dog, name Rocco, but according to one of her sisters, the dog was an English Bulldog and very rough with Maggie, so he was scary to Maggie.

Maggie gave me a big smile when  I walked up to her, but I could not get it out of her again.

I appreciate that Maggie’s Dad stopped to talk to me, let me take her portrait and also give me permission to post this portrait for my project.

About zongrik

For those of you who do not know the handle "zongrik," that would be Bat-Ami Gordin. Most people call me "Tammy." Bat-Ami means "daughter of my nation" in Hebrew. It's a heavy name to carry around. I answer to either name. I also answer to "mama." Some Basic Things about me: Animal lover, mom, poet/writer, dramatic soprano, photographer, teacher/tutor, CERT/Technician and, oh yeah, aerospace engineer. I consider myself "The Astro-Poet."
