Portrait of Dylan

Dylan’s parents were both from Uganda, but Dylan was born in California. His father was a businessman and his parents had been living in California six years. Dylan was 11 months old and according to his father, Dylan, “loved to mess about; he’s jolly good boy.”

As of this posting, Dylan did not walk on his own, but scooted around holding onto furniture. Dylan loved lovely, colorful toys.

Dylan was patient as I made his picture, but he was tired, and as soon as I was finished, he started in with that tired baby cry. Thank you Dylan for putting up with me.

About zongrik

For those of you who do not know the handle "zongrik," that would be Bat-Ami Gordin. Most people call me "Tammy." Bat-Ami means "daughter of my nation" in Hebrew. It's a heavy name to carry around. I answer to either name. I also answer to "mama." Some Basic Things about me: Animal lover, mom, poet/writer, dramatic soprano, photographer, teacher/tutor, CERT/Technician and, oh yeah, aerospace engineer. I consider myself "The Astro-Poet." To learn more about the origins of the word "zongrik" see whats-a-zongrik?
