Portrait of Stefanie

Stefanie was originally from Guatemala City, Guatemala but grew up in San Fernando Valley. She went to North Hollywood High School. At the time of this post, she was finishing up her bachelor’s degree at Full Sail University.

When I met her, Stefanie was in the process of taking pictures for her portfolio. She was a special effects artist.

Stefanie was changing 2D camera work  into 3D and was altering backgrounds that the shooters originally had in their clips. Compositing and finalizing concepts was what she wanted to work on most. She knew how to do CGI, but she didn’t consider it her favorite her thing to do.

About zongrik

For those of you who do not know the handle "zongrik," that would be Bat-Ami Gordin. Most people call me "Tammy." Bat-Ami means "daughter of my nation" in Hebrew. It's a heavy name to carry around. I answer to either name. I also answer to "mama." Some Basic Things about me: Animal lover, mom, poet/writer, dramatic soprano, photographer, teacher/tutor, CERT/Technician and, oh yeah, aerospace engineer. I consider myself "The Astro-Poet." To learn more about the origins of the word "zongrik" see whats-a-zongrik?
