Portrait of Adela

Adela was a security guard at the Lancaster, California, USA Walmart. She worked for Security Defense which was a firm centered in Rialto, California. She was stationed at the Walmart in Lancaster for just a month when we met. Walmart was having too many security issues, so they called her company to hire someone to relieve the problem.

Compared to other assignments, Adela really liked this job because she stood where the greeters generally stood and “got to meet a lot of people.” Adela was a very warm and friendly person, so it was understandable that she liked meeting new people all the time.

About zongrik

For those of you who do not know the handle "zongrik," that would be Bat-Ami Gordin. Most people call me "Tammy." Bat-Ami means "daughter of my nation" in Hebrew. It's a heavy name to carry around. I answer to either name. I also answer to "mama." Some Basic Things about me: Animal lover, mom, poet/writer, dramatic soprano, photographer, teacher/tutor, CERT/Technician and, oh yeah, aerospace engineer. I consider myself "The Astro-Poet." To learn more about the origins of the word "zongrik" see whats-a-zongrik?
