Portrait of Mark


Mark was originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA but lived in Palmdale, California at the time of this interview. He was a manufacturing engineer who work for Northrop Grumman.

Mark was at Marine Lance Cpl. Joseph C. Lopez 2017, 5K run. He rearked, “it was an honor to be picked by the Lopez family to carry the flag today.”

Mark was carrying the flag that had the names of all the Marines that died and were from Rosamond, (see below) including Cpl. Lopez.

For those of you who do not know the handle "zongrik," that would be Bat-Ami Gordin. Most people call me "Tammy." Bat-Ami means "daughter of my nation" in Hebrew. It's a heavy name to carry around. I answer to either name. I also answer to "mama."
