Portrait of Ann-2

Ann was an artist at the Harbor Village Gallery & Gifts and also belonged to the Buenaventura Art Association. She created sculptures and paintings. I met her at Ventura Pirate Festival at Ventura Harbor where she came to participate in the face painting event they had.

Ann studied art at California State University, Northridge. She also studied at Ventura College and felt that there, she gained the biggest influence on her art style.

Ann sold her work mostly through galleries and at festivals and was hoping to get her a website one day, so she could sell online also.

About zongrik

For those of you who do not know the handle "zongrik," that would be Bat-Ami Gordin. Most people call me "Tammy." Bat-Ami means "daughter of my nation" in Hebrew. It's a heavy name to carry around. I answer to either name. I also answer to "mama." Some Basic Things about me: Animal lover, mom, poet/writer, dramatic soprano, photographer, teacher/tutor, CERT/Technician and, oh yeah, aerospace engineer. I consider myself "The Astro-Poet." To learn more about the origins of the word "zongrik" see whats-a-zongrik?
