Greg was the owner of Voodoo Vinyl New and Used Records which was a “newer used record store” with guitars, 33’s, 45’s, and clothing. It was “a piece of the past.” Voodo Vinyl was located in Lancaster, California, USA on The Blvd.
“It was a lifelong dream to open a store like this,” Greg stated. “I was collecting records for 35 years. Music has always been my life.”
I asked Greg to pick two albums so he could pose with them. When he showed me the albums, I was enthralled because Let It Be was my favorite album, ever. It was like he read my mind.
Greg chose those two albums because Let It Be was made by The Beatles, “the greatest rock band ever” and he thought that was perfect. The other album was Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables which was “a perfect punk style record by the Dead Kennedys.”
