Portrait of Bree

Just before I took this picture of Bree, she had participated in a pie eating contest, “I got cherry because cherry is my favorite. Whoever finished first won and I was the one who finished first. Nobody could believe that a girl in uniform would win. That’s because people in uniform are usually fancy, and I’m really not…”

The uniform Bree wears in the picture was for flag team. Flag team performed dance movements coordinated with flag waving. Bree explained what flag team entailed, “We go with advanced band a lot. I tried out for the team and I made the team and that’s a lot of fun. We got to perform today.”

Bree also played soccer and coached soccer. She was in advanced band and participated in ballroom dancing.

About zongrik

For those of you who do not know the handle "zongrik," that would be Bat-Ami Gordin. Most people call me "Tammy." Bat-Ami means "daughter of my nation" in Hebrew. It's a heavy name to carry around. I answer to either name. I also answer to "mama." Some Basic Things about me: Animal lover, mom, poet/writer, dramatic soprano, photographer, teacher/tutor, CERT/Technician and, oh yeah, aerospace engineer. I consider myself "The Astro-Poet."
