Portrait of Jacob-2

Jacob went to Rosamond High School and liked to play the drums. He wasn’t in any bands, just liked to play for fun.

Jacob had a beginner’s drum kit and was learning  music off recorded hits and  some of his favorites. His father was helping him “learn how to do a few things because my dad was pretty good at doing musical instruments.”

Jacob was learning different rhythms and was practicing them. He said it was hard to learn.

Jacob was planning to be a welder and wanted “to get in to building aircraft.”

About zongrik

For those of you who do not know the handle "zongrik," that would be Bat-Ami Gordin. Most people call me "Tammy." Bat-Ami means "daughter of my nation" in Hebrew. It's a heavy name to carry around. I answer to either name. I also answer to "mama." Some Basic Things about me: Animal lover, mom, poet/writer, dramatic soprano, photographer, teacher/tutor, CERT/Technician and, oh yeah, aerospace engineer. I consider myself "The Astro-Poet." To learn more about the origins of the word "zongrik" see whats-a-zongrik?

  1. Nice action shot of Jacob and nice write on him.

  2. You find the most interesting people! I admire your lack of shyness in talking to and photographing so many different people.
