Portrait of Lamuel

I met Lemuel while he was selling pet products at the Lancaster Bark at the Park event, in Lancaster, California, USA. In his hands, in this photograph, he is holding two dog toys.

Lemuel was a professional maintenance man. He contracted out to 36 different apartment building. “I don’t have to look for work. Work comes to me. I’m that good.” He also noted that the people who ran the booth, selling the pet products called him, he did not call them.

Lemuel was a spiritual person who not only supported animal events, but also Pow Wows and other celebrations of Native American tribes all over Southern California.

About zongrik

For those of you who do not know the handle "zongrik," that would be Bat-Ami Gordin. Most people call me "Tammy." Bat-Ami means "daughter of my nation" in Hebrew. It's a heavy name to carry around. I answer to either name. I also answer to "mama." Some Basic Things about me: Animal lover, mom, poet/writer, dramatic soprano, photographer, teacher/tutor, CERT/Technician and, oh yeah, aerospace engineer. I consider myself "The Astro-Poet."
