Portrait of Lucas
Lucas loved sports and was always doing his homework, “that is pretty much what my day is.” In school he was in the tenth grade and studying Advanced Placement history, geometry trigonometry and English. In English he was reading Blood Red Road and he thought, “it’s pretty good.”
Lucas liked football, basketball and swimming. He was on a swim team and swam 500 meter free and 200 meter free. He also participated in the 400 meter relay, swimming the last leg.
Lucas liked reading fiction and pretty much anything. To Lucas it didn’t matter what kind of book, it just, “depends how it’s written.”
