Portrait of Sherrie

171114a_

Sherrie attended the YMCA in Lancaster, California, USA. She loved taking the dance classes there, Zumba being her favorite. She also participated in and enjoyed ballet class.

After taking dance classes, Sherrie sat in the lobby, had coffee and hung out with friends.

Sherrie took the bus home, but didn’t like the long waits for the buses.

"No performance is a perfect performance but some performances allow for the feeling of perfection. Achieving this moment of ecstasy easily validates all the pain and struggle of the art form by taking us (and possibly our audience) for a moment to a world beyond our own." - Wendy Whelan
