Portrait of Kimberly

Kimberly was from Tucson, Arizona, USA. She participated in CrossFit and had a seven year old child. She was in California because her friend was related to Marine Lance Cpl. Joseph C. Lopez, and she came to Rosamond to participate in the run. Kimberly worked for an optometrist as a technician.

Portrait of Lema

Lema was an optician for seven years and was working for Helm Vision Group for two years when I met her. Previous to that, she had worked at LensCrafters.

Lema studied at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). She liked her job because she got “to help people see better” and that was always her goal in her endeavor to be an optician.

Lema endorsed her place of employment, saying, “Helm Vision Group is the best place to go to to get glasses and the best place to work.”
